Wellness Walk and 10K Finishers Announced
Monday, September 28, 2009BATH, NY – Forty-one-year-old Bath resident Russell Derick placed first overall in the 3rd Annual Davenport and Taylor Wellness Walk and 10K Run, which took place Sunday, September 13. Derick’s time was forty minutes, 32 seconds. Forty-three-year-old Penny Button from Middlebury Center, PA placed first overall among women participants and fourth overall with a time of forty-seven minutes and 28 seconds.
The Wellness Walk and 10K Run kicked off Wellness Week, which featured a series of free screenings over several days at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. The Walk/Run raised money for the Keuka Healthcare Foundation.

The Davenport & Taylor organization, founded in 1910, is comprised of a 38-bed acute care hospital, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, and a full complement of ancillary services. It is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State between the villages of Bath and Hammondsport.
